Walking football is a variant of traditional football designed to allow people of all abilities to play this sport in a safe and enjoyable way, thanks to a slower and less intense pace compared to conventional football.

The rules of walking football are similar to those of traditional football, with some fundamental modifications to ensure safety and inclusivity.
The main rule is that players must walk instead of run. If a player is caught running, they are penalized. This makes the game accessible to those with physical limitations or health issues.

For this reason, walking football is an adapted form of football that allows everyone, regardless of physical abilities, to enjoy the physical, social, and psychological benefits of the sport in a safe and accessible environment.
